On our Web Hosting, a free Let's Encrypt Domain Validation (DV) certificate is issued and renewed automatically — you don't buy, install or renew anything. This is the live SSL option today.
Enable free auto-SSL
- 1Point your domain's DNS at your site (an A record to your server — see: manage DNS records).
- 2In the Panel, open your site and enable SSL. The certificate is requested from Let's Encrypt and installed for you.
- 3That's it — renewal happens automatically before expiry, so the padlock never lapses.
- The domain must resolve to your server for validation to succeed.
- Use the SSL Checker to confirm a site's certificate and expiry at any time.
Paid & managed certificates
- Paid OV/EV certificates are available now on the SSL page for sites that need validated-business assurance (OV $250,000 / EV $1,000,000 warranty).
- "Managed SSL" — where we issue and auto-renew a certificate for a site hosted elsewhere — is coming soon.
