Premium DNS runs your zone on a global Anycast network so lookups resolve from the location nearest each visitor — faster and more resilient than standard DNS. It's a $5/mo add-on per domain and includes secondary DNS and query analytics.
Note on edge/CDN: free edge caching comes bundled with our Web Hosting — you don't buy it separately, and there is no standalone CDN product. An advanced managed WAF / DDoS product is on the roadmap (coming soon); it is not part of Premium DNS.
What Premium DNS includes
- Anycast resolution — your zone is served from many locations worldwide for lower latency and redundancy.
- Secondary DNS — run us alongside another provider (or as a hidden-primary setup) so DNS keeps answering if one side goes down.
- Query analytics — see query volumes and record activity for your zone.
- DNSSEC is free and separate — you don't need Premium DNS to turn it on.
Turn it on
- 1Open My Domains → your domain → DNS.
- 2Enable Premium DNS for the domain (the $5/mo add-on).
- 3Your existing records carry over — nothing to re-enter.
- GeoDNS / geo-routing and DNS failover are coming soon — they are not available yet, so don't rely on them until they ship.
- A managed WAF / DDoS product is coming soon; when it launches it will be its own add-on, not a DNS tier.
