Connect to your server over SSH

Add your SSH key and log in to your server securely.

SSH is the secure way to get a command line on your server. Add your public key to your account and it's available to servers you deploy.

Add your key & connect

  1. 1Generate a key pair locally if you don't have one: ssh-keygen -t ed25519.
  2. 2Copy the public key (the .pub file) into Account → SSH Keys.
  3. 3Copy your server's IP from My Servers.
  4. 4Connect: ssh root@YOUR_SERVER_IP (or your distro's default user).
  • Prefer password login off — key-based auth is far more secure.
  • Locked out? Open your Panel from the server page — its terminal works without SSH — or contact support.
